Glen Iris Scorpions is a junior basketball club associated with the Waverley Basketball Association.  We have teams for boys and girls from under 8 to under 18.

We are a volunteer-run club.  All committee members, most coaches and other club officials are volunteers.  The club exists for the kids and there is an onus and responsibility on the whole extended club (players and parents) to help make it a great experience for all.

Our club encourages participation, team spirit and the social and sporting development of all players.

Waverley Basketball Association’s Competition is usually divided into two seasons per year.  The Summer Season runs from October to March during school terms four and one, and the  Winter Season runs from April to September during school terms two and three.
