The Glen Iris District Basketball Club Inc. was formed by Kate Bellamy, Shane Palmer and Andrew Cavell in 2009 due to overwhelming popularity of basketball in the Glen Iris area.  The Club’s aim is to provide children as young as six years old an opportunity to become involved in a positive sport that helps to keep them fit and healthy whilst having fun.  Participation and teamwork, both on and off the court is what this community based Club is all about.
